It's a Whole New Time in Education!
Welcome to the iPads and Digital Learning.
I encourage students to practice typing at home a little each week to build their flexibility and typing speed. There are many useful websites for students to use at home. http://linksforlearning.weebly.com/typing-skills.html
We will also introduce and use the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Power Point Presentations, other presentation/publishing programs, various presentation programs (prezi, wiki, blogs, discussion boards...) Internet Safety and Research.
Special Events: 6th Grade Camp (www.CampCopneconic.com), Field Day, Middle SchoolOrientation and Tour, Festival of Cultures, Disney Fun Day, Elementary/6th Grade Graduation... (all field trips are tenative. Some may or may not occur in any given year. All depends on availability and ability to schedule into our school and classroom calendar)
